Unusual warmth spreading ahead of a cold front will help to spark a fewgusty thunderstorms from the lower Midwest to the mid-Atlantic on Monday intoMonday night.During the afternoon, a corridor spanning Indianapolis, Columbus and Pittsburghwill see scattered thunderstorms with strong, gusty winds.
On Monday evening, the area favored for a few gusty storms will shift south andeast to the mid-Atlantic, including Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and AtlanticCity.
Although odds are stacked heavily against a major outbreak of strong storms orsevere weather, storms unleashing isolated bursts of damaging wind arepossible.
