An unconscious 9-year-old girl was rescued by hotel patrons at a Bloomington hotel pool Saturday night.

Bloomington police responded to a call at the Ramada Hotel on the 2300 block of E. American Blvd. Hotel patrons had pulled the child from the bottom and began to resuscitate her, according to a news release.

Once the ambulance arrived, the child was breathing. She was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center and is in critical but stable condition.
