9 a.m. update: Wrapping up a tame rush hour

The rush hour was uneventful for the most part, but there could be weather-related issues on Friday if the current forecast holds.

I'll be back Friday with live blogging to keep you informed where you will encounter delays on the roads and rails.

Today, we end with no accidents on the system. The only slow down of significance is on eastbound and westbound 494 between Hwy. 169 to 35W.

We also have a piece of wood in the right lane of southbound 35E at County Road 96. Watch for vehicles trying to dodge that.

No travel is advised in southeastern Minnesota according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
