The rush hour winds down with some congestion on southbound 35W due to a crash on the Mississippi River bridge and ramp jams on westbound 94 to 11th Street.
Traffic on westbound 494 also remains heavy from Cedar Avenue to Hwy. 100. Look for a crash on the right shoulder at Nicollet Avenue.
Utility work will lead to lane closings in a few spots today:
The left lane of eastbound 694 from Hwy. 100 to 35W will be closed from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today.
The left lane of 35W in both directions from Washington Avenue to University Avenue will be closed from 9 a.m. to noon today.
The ramp from westbound Hwy. 55 to Bloomington Road will be closed from noon to 2 p.m. today.
Crews will repair potholes on Hwy. 13 between Nicollet Avenue and 35W from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today. Look for intermittent lane closures.
