The rush hour was uneventful for early commuters, but those who ventured out late found snowy conditions and slippery roads.

In the past 30 minutes, the State Patrol has been busy responding to numerous spin outs and crashes as road conditions deteriorated. Visibility is poor, especially in open areas.

Some of slowest traffic is on Hwy. 169 in both directions from 94 to Crosstown. That trip can take as long as 30 minutes.

Hwy. 100 isn't much better with traffic crammed from the Crosstown to 394.

Traffic is crawling on southbound 35W from Hwy. 280 to downtown Minneapolis. Westbound 94 is very slow from Dale Street to Riverside Avenue.

Look out for a new wreck on eastbound 494 at Hwy. 212 in Eden Prairie. There also is a new crash on the ramp from westbound 394 to Xenia Avenue. Look out coming off southbound Hwy. 100.
