A stalled vehicle blocking the left lane on the southbound Lafayette Bridge and a crash on the right of northbound Hwy. 100 approaching I-394 are the two incidents on the board as we wrap up the Tuesday rush.

We also have pockets of congestion on northbound 35W from Crosstown to downtown Minneapolis.

The earlier portion of the commute was typical, with the usual slow downs in the usual spots.

Brooklyn Park saw a trio of wrecks, including a motorcyclist who wiped out on westbound Hwy. 610 near Hwy. 169. The cyclist was okay, but suffered injuries according to scanner reports. The incident during the 6 a.m. hour tied up traffic back to Noble Pkwy.

At the same time the State Patrol was dispatched to fender benders on southbound Hwy. 169 at County Road 81 and northbound 169 at 77th Avenue.

Drive times were tolerable for most commuters as crashes were kept to a minimum.

This just in: There may be a power outage in the area of Hwy. 110 and Lexington Avenue in Mendota Heights. A motorist just hit a pole.
