It was definitely a fabulous Friday for commuters as congestion never really formed and we had few crashes. The couple we had did not adversely affect traffic, and that kept things moving all morning.

Northbound 35W was a tad sluggish, but it was managable as delays were nothing like the bottlenecks the freeway can produce.

A weekend of road construction is ahead, and I'll have a complete run down posted here in a few minutes. Just note that the roundup will include details of closures of portions of 35W in Bloomington and Hwy. 100 in Brooklyn Center.

That's it for this morning. Have a great weekend. I'll be back Monday with more live blogging of the morning commute.
