Road construction on southbound Hwy. 169 led to a traffic jam approaching the Crosstown where the highway is shut down to Valley View Road until early July.

Northbound drivers didn't get off scott free as an accident around 8 a.m. blocked two lanes for about 30 minutes. That led to delays from Valley View Road. That has since cleared.

In Oakdale, drivers got caught up in a minor jam when two cars collided in the left lane at Stillwater Blvd. Things are moving swiftly in that area now.

Potholes slowed drivers on southbound 35E approaching Maryland Avenue. A stall in the vicinity around 7 a.m. didn't help matters.

A power outage took out the traffic lights on Hwy. 101 at 141st Avenue in Rogers and that had traffic crawling from Hwy. 101. Eastbound 94 also sputtered from Albertville to the Fish Lake Interchange for much of the rush hour.

Southbound 494 had its issues. At times it was 25 minutes from 494/694 split down to Hwy. 7.

At present, police are on the scene of a wreck at 66th Street and Hwy. 100 in Edina. The driver was heading north in the southbound lanes prior to the crash.

Lakeville drivers experienced at one-day reprieve as construction on 35W from 60th Street to 50th Street was put off until Tuesday. Look for single-lane traffic starting Tuesday, MnDOT says.
