Only one crash presented any major problems for commuters and that was early in the rush on westbound 494 at Portland Avenue. Drivers experienced a 20-minute set back until the wreckage was cleared from the left lane.

Otherwise only spotty congestion hampered the drive on 35W through Burnsville and on 494 from Woodbury to Bloomington.

Traffic flowed at the posted speeds elsewhere as light volumes and dry roads produced good driving conditions.

At the present, the State Patrol is dealing with a vehicle that went off the ramp from southbound 494 to eastbound 94 in Woodbury. A wreck on the southbound side of the Lafayette Bridge has cleared.

Come back tomorrow morning as precip in the form or rain or snow could complicate the drive. Live reports here from 5 to 9 a.m.
