The big snag on the system is on eastbound Hwy. 212 where the highway is closed at Hwy. 41 as crews work to clear a crash in which a cement truck rolled over between Hwy. 41 and Audubon Road.

Westbound traffic is getting by on the right shoulder. A possible alternate to avoid the backup is to use Engler Blvd. to Flying Cloud Drive.

Other drivers are heading north on Hwy. 41 to Hwy. 5, so expect heavier traffic on both of those routes.

Elsewhere, it's a stall on the right shoulder that is slowing traffic on northbound 494 at Bass Lake Road in Maple Grove.

Northbound 35W has pockets of congestion from 35th Street to downtown Minneapolis. That's adding just a couple minutes to the drive.

It's road work that has the ramp from northbound Hwy. 100 to Minnetonka Blvd. shut down until 5 p.m. Saturday.

Hwy. 13 will have intermittent lane closures at Hwy. 149 to Cherokee Blvd. for gas line work today.

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
