We end the Monday rush hour with a nice traffic jam on northbound 35E in St. Paul. A pesky stall has the left lane blocked at Randolph Avenue. The stack up begins at Hwy. 13.

In the west metro, northbound 494 is sluggish from Minnetonka Blvd. to 394. A crash just prior to 394 is responsible. The ramp to westbound Hwy. 12 also is closed for road work.

The drive is still slow on northbound 35W from Crosstown to downtown Minneapolis. That trip will take 17 minutes.

I'll be back Tuesday with a look at your drive to work. As always, any story ideas, questions or traffic/commuting thoughts or gripes are welcome at drive@startribune.com
