9 a.m. update: Rush hour wrap up

Road are generally in good shape and moving at the posted speeds, but there a few places with slow traffic and a couple of accidents to deal with.

April 4, 2013 at 10:33AM

We end the rush hour with a few incidents on the system:

The left shoulder is blocked on northbound Hwy. 169 at Anderson Lakes Pkwy.

In St. Paul, the right shoulder is blocked with a semitrailer truck on southbound 35E at Roselawn Avenue.

The left shoulder is blocked on southbound 494 at Carlson Pkwy.

A crash is blocking the right lane on eastbound I-694 at Hwy. 252.

494 through the Bloomington Strip continues to be sluggish with 15 minutes needed in either direction between Hwy. 169 and Cedar Avenue.

Both 694 and 35W slow at their confluence; plan on a few extra minutes on either freeway.
