Heavy rain and high traffic volumes are making the late rush hour commute a challenge.

There is work of standing water on the road on southbound Hwy. 52 at Plato Blvd. in St. Paul.

On eastbound Hwy. 36, there is a crash blocking the right lane at Hwy. 61.

Two lanes are blocked on northbound Cedar Avenue at Old Shakopee Road with a crash. Traffic is backing up quickly in the area.

We also have a wreck blocking the ramp from westbound 494 to Cedar Avenue. Use caution as you pass by.

There is word of a crash on southbound 494 at County Road 6 in Plymouth.

And in Bloomington, scanner chatter indicates drains are plugging up on Old Shakopee Road east of France Avenue.
