No promises on what this afternoon will bring on 694 in the work zone between East River Road and Hwy. 100, but this morning was a breeze for commuters.

No promises on what this afternoon will bring on 694 in the work zone between East River Road and Hwy. 100, but this morning was a breeze for commuters.

Yesterday we saw a big backup on northbound Hwy. 100 due to a lane reduction at Humboldt Avenue and those on eastbound 694. Be ready for that.

This morning, we end with a few spots where traffic is tight and moving below the posted speeds:

Southbound 35W from Industrial Blvd. to I-94.

Southbound 494 from Bass Lake Road to County Road 6.

I-494 both directions from Hwy. 100 to Cedar Avenue.

Northbound 35W from Burnsville Pkwy. to 90th Street.

Westbound 94 from Riverside Avenue to the Lowry Hill Tunnel.

Westbound Crosstown from Cedar Avenue to Hwy. 100.
