The snow has extended the rush hour for many drivers, but things are showing signs of loosening up a bit on some roads.
In the south metro, things are lighter on northbound 35E from County Road 42 to Hwy. 110. Traffic is moving a bit better on northbound Cedar Avenue and 35W through Apple Valley and Eagan. There is a spinout on northbound 35E at Cliff Road.
Inside the 694/494 loop, things remain stop and go in many places, including southbound Hwy. 100 and 169 from 94 to 394.
Look for a wreck on eastbound 94 just past County Road 81 in Brooklyn Park.
A crash is blocking the right lane on southbound 494 at Lake Road in Woodbury. Ahead there is a spinout at Concord St.
A new crash is blocking the left shoulder on eastbound 494 at Prairie Center Drive. Look for slowing ahead near Hwy. 100 and 35W.
Westbound 36 remains a tough drive from White Bear Avenue to Fairview Avenue. Look for a wreck at 35W and one at Edgerton Street.
