Plymouth seems to be the epicenter of activity this morning. The latest incident is a crash in the median on Hwy. 55 at between I-494 and Northwest Blvd.

Earlier, fire departments from several cities battled an apartment fire on Rockford Road. The fire is out, but the intersection of Rockford Road and Vicksburg Lane is closed.

The tightest traffic this morning is in Bloomington on westbound 494. It's 20 minutes from Cedar Avenue to Hwy. 100.

That is the anomaly this morning. Lighter-than-normal levels of traffic is making for a nice commute on most routes. We have no major delays at this hour. Just stop and go conditions through the work zones on 35E in Eagan and 694 in Fridley and Brooklyn Center.
