Commuters on westbound 94 are not making good time. A crash on the right shoulder at Hwy. 61 has traffic crawling from White Bear Avenue into downtown St. Paul. Thing loosen just a bit from 35E to Dale Street, where the tight conditions resume.
At Snelling Avenue, it's brake riding time all the way into downtown Minneapolis. We have a crash at the 5th Street exit. Settle in for a long ride, 50 minutes from White Bear Avenue to the Lowry Tunnel.
Other tough spots include westbound Hwy. 36 from Hwy. 61 to 35W. That is still inching along at 20 minutes.
Nobody is going fast on 694. All morning we have seen long lines and very low speeds between Hwy. 61 and Hwy. 252. Plan on 54 minutes either direction and a bonus if your trip is faster.
Hwy. 169 in both directions between Crosstown and Rockford Road is plugged up. That is 30 to 35 minutes in either direction.
