Authorities have opened the southbound lanes of 35W at Hwy. 36. They'd been closed for nearly an hour as officials dealt with a violent crash in the northbound lanes involving two semitrailer trucks and a Metro Mobility bus.

The northbound lanes remained closed at Industrial Blvd. The ramp from northbound Hwy. 280 to northbound 35W also is closed.

Our earlier problems on southbound 35W in Shoreview are behind us and traffic between Lake Drive and 694 is back to a reasonable pace. Plan on 25 minutes to reach downtown Minneapolis.
