For a bit of good news, the ramp from northbound 35W to westbound 494 has reopened.

The crash on southbound 494 at Hwy. 55 has been moved off to the right shoulder. All lanes are now open, but major delays remain. Plan on 45 minutes from 94 down to Crosstown.

It's tough going on several routes in the south metro. Heavy congestion on northbound Cedar Avenue from County 42 to the Crosstown.

Heavy traffic on westbound 494 from Hwy. 110 over to 35E and 35W to Hwy. 100.

A new crash is slowing traffic on northbound 35W. This one is at Burnsville Pkwy. It's 30 minutes from 195th Street to 494.

It's not much better ahead with 20 minutes needed from Crosstown to downtown Minneapolis.
