A motorcyclist laid the bike down on eastbound 94 at Franklin Avenue and another crash involving a couple vehicles in the same area has the freeway reduced to a single lane from Huron Blvd. to near Hwy. 280.

Road work in the area is not helping the cause. Traffic is near gridlock from Portland Avenue to the scene.

Traffic also is almost stopped from 7th Street into the Lowry Hill Tunnel.
