8 a.m. update: Debris blocked 2 lanes on 494 in Bloomington

Now we know what the problem is on I-494 at Penn Avenue. MnDOT just cleaned up some debris in the right lanes. Traffic is stacked up from Hwy. 169 past the scene. It's 15 minutes from 169 to 35W.

Now we know what the problem is on I-494 at Penn Avenue. MnDOT just cleaned up some debris in the right lanes. Traffic is stacked up from Hwy. 169 past the scene. It's 15 minutes from 169 to 35W.

Look for a minor slow down on southbound 35W at County I. People are milling around on the right shoulder near a crash involving two vehicles.

Two earlier wrecks on northbound 35W at 38th and 42nd Street have cleared out. Look for traffic to sputter from 46th Street into downtown.
