8 a.m. update: Current drive times

A number of crashes in busy places have traffic moving at a snail's pace. That includes northbound 35W from County Road 42 up to 494. We've got three wrecks in place at Hwy. 13, 98th Street and 94th Street.

Hwy. 169 is also a trouble spot. Northbound suffers from Hwy. 7 to 394 with wrecks at Lincoln Drive and Minnetonka Blvd. Southbound is snarled from Medicine Lake Road past a crash just past 394.

Look for a new crash on eastbound 394 at 12th Street in downtown Minneapolis.

Westbound 94 in Lake Elmo grinds to a very slow roll approaching a wreck at County Road 17. And look for tight conditions on westbound Hwy. 36 at Fairview Avenue where a crash is still taking out the left lane.

Westbound 694 from 35E to Hwy. 252: 15 minutes. Eastbound is 12 minutes.

Eastbound 94 from Hwy. 101 to 494: 26 minutes

Southbound 494 from 94 down to 394: 18 minutes

Southbound Hwy. 169 from I-94 to Crosstown: 33 minutes

Southbound Hwy. 100 from I-94 to Crosstown: 22 minutes

South metro

Northbound 35W from County 42 to Crosstown: 21 minutes To downtown Minneapolis: 32 minutes.

Northbound Cedar Avenue from 35E to the Crosstown: 23 minutes

Northbound 169 from Canterbury Road to 494: 15 minutes

Eastbound Hwy. 212 from Powers Blvd. to Crosstown: 13 minutes

Westbound 494 from Cedar Avenue to Hwy. 100: 10 minutes. Eastbound 494 from Hwy. 169 to 35W: 6 minutes

Westbound 94 from 35E to the Lowry Hill Tunnel: 15 minutes.
