8 a.m. update: Current drive times

Traffic is jamming up fast on the eastbound Crosstown where we have a dump truck involved in a crash at Portland Avenue. The line up extends into the 35W Commons and on the ramp from southbound 35W to eastbound Crosstown.

Our problems in Maple Grove continue. Crews are still cleaning up the overturned semi that was carrying turkeys on the ramp from northbound 494 to eastbound 94. The ramp is closed and traffic is being diverted to westbound 94.

That has drivers using the Weaver Lake Road exits to turn back around and head east on 94. Plan on sluggish traffic from Maple Grove Parkway to the Fish Lake Split.

Southbound 35W from 95th Avenue to downtown Minneapolis: 20 minutes

Southbound 35E from County J to I-94: 14 minutes.

Westbound 694 from 35E to Hwy. 252: 10 minutes. Eastbound is 12 minutes.

West metro

Eastbound 94 from Hwy. 101 to 494: 12 minutes

Southbound 494 from 94 down to 394: 8 minutes

Eastbound 394 from 494 to 35W via 94: 11 minutes

Southbound Hwy. 100 from I-94 to Crosstown: 17 minutes

South metro

Northbound 35W from County 42 to Crosstown: 14 minutes To downtown Minneapolis: 24 minutes.

Northbound Cedar Avenue from 35E to the Crosstown: 11 minutes

Northbound 35E from County 42 to downtown St. Paul: 20 minutes

Eastbound Hwy. 212 from Powers Blvd. to Shady Oak Road: 14 minutes

Westbound 494 from Cedar Avenue to Hwy. 100: 11 minutes. Eastbound 494 from Hwy. 169 to 35W: 10 minutes
