8 a.m. update: Current drive times

Traffic on westbound 494 is starting to loosen between Newport and Eagan now that a traffic stop at Pilot Knob Road has cleared. Look for pockets of congestion from Dodd Road over to Hwy. 100, and a 21-minute trip.

A fender bender on westbound 94 at Prior Avenue slows traffic in the immediate area, and adds a few minutes to the trip into downtown Minneapolis.

All gone, the crash on 35W at Park Avenue. Still remaining is a car on the left shoulder of eastbound 94 at the Maple Grove Rest Area.

And bring patience on southbound 35W. It's packed from County Road C down to Washington Avenue.
