8:55 a.m. update: A thinning list of crashes, long commutes

Major freeways and highways are still clogged.

April 12, 2013 at 10:20AM

The number of crashes and spin outs has slowed in the past few minutes, but that has not helped the drive to work.

Most major freeways and highways are still clogged.

You'll find a stall on the right shoulder of eastbound 394 at Xenia Avenue. Traffic is clogged up due to an earlier crash at Dunwoody Blvd. Plan on 30 minutes from General Mills Blvd. over to downtown.

The left lane remains blocked on northbound Cedar Avenue at Lindau Lane near the Mall of America. That is making for tough going from Hwy. 13.

Look for a new crash on northbound 94 at 42nd Avenue. That's blocking the left lane.

A spin out on northbound 169 at I-94 in Brooklyn Park is blocking a lane.

There is word of a new spinout blocking a lane on southbound Cedar Avenue at Hwy. 13.
