8:50 a.m. update: Tight on 94 in Minneapolis

Commuters heading into downtown Minneapolis can expect heavy traffic on both directions of I-94. The slow down westbound begins at Hiawatha Avenue and eastbound from Broadway over to 280. But it's nothing that will set you back any more than a couple minutes.

Elsewhere, the roads look as if the rush has ended early.

The remaining accidents are on southbound 494 at Rockford Road and northbound Cedar Avenue at the Minnesota River bridge.
