8:50 a.m. update: Long drive times

The south metro can't seem to catch a break. Northbound 35W and Cedar Avenue continue to crawl from 35E up to 494. It's still 15 to 18 minutes on both routes.

Westbound 494 is locked up from the Wakota Bridge over to 35W. That is close to 30 minutes.

Southbound Hwy. 100 is trudging along from 36th Avenue in Robbinsdale to the Crosstown. Plan on 30 minute for that drive.

A new crash is plugging northbound 35W in the downtown Minneapolis curve. It is sluggish from 50th Street to downtown.
