8:50 a.m. update: Icy southeast of the metro

Southbound Hwy. 52 is closed at Goodhue County Road 9 due to a crash. Word is roads are icy in the area, and MnDOT classifies roads in southeastern Minnesota as in difficult conditions.

Southbound Hwy. 52 is closed at Goodhue County Road 9 due to a crash. Word is roads are icy in the area, and MnDOT classifies roads in southeastern Minnesota as in difficult conditions.

Closer to home, watch out for a crash on southbound Hwy. 252 at 73rd Avenue in Brooklyn Park.

Traffic is still heavy on 494 in Bloomington. A wreck is on the right shoulder on westbound 494 at Nicollet Avenue with slow downs in place from 12th Avenue.

Eastbound is congested from Hwy. 212 to 35W. That will take 15 minutes.
