8:50 a.m. update: Current drive times

The sad news unfolding at this hour is a fatality. A motorcyclist is believed dead after a crash on northbound 35W at Burnsville Pkwy. Two left lanes are closed for the next two hours. The back up extends to Crystal Lake Road at present.

The delay on northbound 35E is due to a mishap at Shepard Road in St. Paul. The stagnation begins at Hwy. 110.

In Bloomington, watch for a crash on westbound 494 at Penn Avenue which should be gone momentarily.
