The commute on 494 through Plymouth and Maple Grove has been a tough one all morning as many drivers have opted for that route instead of using Hwy. 169.

The result is a 20 minute driver from the Fish Lake Interchange down to 394.

On Hwy. 169, it's been a nice drive with lighter than normal traffic levels. You will run into a snag at Minnetonka Blvd as folks line up at the bridge construction project.

One upside to the Hwy. 36 closure between Hwy. 61 and White Bear Avenue. Things to the west are lighter than normal and traffic is sailing along.

Look for pockets of slow traffic on southbound 35W from Lake Drive to County Road 96 and again from Johnson Street to the Washington Avenue exit.

On southbound Hwy. 100, delays continue from Hwy. 55 to 50th Street where there is a crash on the right shoulder.
