8:45 a.m. update: Near gridlock on I-35 in Lakeville

The stress level for commuters on northbound I-35 in Lakeville is rising as fast as travel times. Drivers will need 25 minutes from County 2 in Elko up to the Burnsville Split due to that single lane work zone stuff between County 70 and County 50.

The stress level for commuters on northbound I-35 in Lakeville is rising as fast as travel times. Drivers will need 25 minutes from County 2 in Elko up to the Burnsville Split due to that single lane work zone stuff between County 70 and County 50.

Ahead, you will have a minor setback approaching 82nd Street where we have a fender bender on the right. Otherwise smooth sailing into downtown Minneapolis.

The northwest metro is plugged on eastbound 94 from 101st Avenue to the Fish Lake Split due to a crash at the 494/694/94 interchange. It's 20 minutes from Rogers.
