8:45 a.m. update: Loosening in the Midway

The drive between the two downtowns on east and west 94 is shaking loose, but it's still heavy on westbound 94 from McKnight Road over to 35E.

The drive between the two downtowns on east and west 94 is shaking loose, but it's still heavy on westbound 94 from McKnight Road over to 35E.

In Minneapolis, expect delays on eastbound 94 from Broadway over to 35W. That is 12 minutes.

Eastbound 394 is still jammed from General Mills Blvd. over to Dunwoody Blvd. That is taking 15 to 18 minutes.

Westbound Hwy. 36 has its share of congestion between Dale Street and 35W.

Southbound 35W plugs up from Hwy. 10 down to County Road 96.

Crosstown eastbound is running below the posted speeds from Hwy. 169 over to Cedar Avenue. That is 18 minutes.

Commuters will encounter brief delays in the work zone on 694 in both directions between Hwy. 252 and University Avenue.
