8:45 a.m. update: Hwy. 241 crash in St. Michael was a fatal

The State Patrol says at least one person died in a crash two-vehicle crash on Hwy. 241 just west of the I-94 interchange Monday morning.

The State Patrol says at least one person died in a crash two-vehicle crash on Hwy. 241 just west of the I-94 interchange Monday morning.

According to the patrol, a vehicle turing left from Hwy. 241 onto a street leading to a gas station was broadsided in the intersection.

A 54-year-old man from Buffalo identified by the patrol as Bruce Plante was injured. He was headed north on Hwy. 241 when the crash occurred at 6:27 a.m. The vehicle turning left carried two people. One person in that vehicle has died, the patrol said.
