This has been the morning for deer to be playing on the freeways. The latest is a dead buck in the left lane of eastbound 694 at Hwy. 61 in Maplewood.

Earlier we had one shot at Hwy. 280 and 35W in Roseville. That drama created quite a bottleneck for southbound 35W and westbound Hwy. 36 drivers. That incident is long gone.

Look for lots of slow traffic on eastbound 394 from Hwy. 100 to downtown Minneapolis. Drivers seem to be gawking at a crash on the bottom of the ramp from Penn Avenue to eastbound 394.
