A flurry of crashes during the 7:45 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. period have cleared out and traffic has recovered in most places.
Police are still dealing with a three-vehicle crash on the Minnesota River Bridge on northbound 35W in Burnsville. Traffic stacks up at Hwy. 13.
A new incident comes in the way of a wreck on the top of the ramp of Silver Lake Road to westbound 694. Two vehicles collided and are wrapped around a traffic signal.
Westbound Hwy. 55 remains closed at Lexington Avenue in Mendota Heights as authorities investigate a fatal accident that occurred just before 6 a.m. at Northland Drive.
