The drive on southbound 35W is being hampered by a wreck on the right shoulder at Washington Avenue. Things slow down from Johnson Street down to 94.
The heavy rain is snarling traffic on I-494 in both directions between Hwy. 100 and Cedar Avenue. The worst is westbound. Plan on 20 minutes there.
Eastbound 694 continues to creep along from County Road 81 over to 35W. That is a good 20 to 25 minutes. Westbound has issues, too, but not quite as bad.
Things are packed on northbound 35W from Crosstown to downtown Minneapolis. Plan on 15 minutes there.
Eastbound 394 is sluggish from Hwy. 169 all the way to downtown Minneapolis. Look for a stall at Hampshire Avenue on the right shoulder. It's a 15 minute commute along this route.
