8:30 a.m. update: Loosening up on 169 and 35W

Motorists on northbound Hwy. 169 will find pockets of slow traffic, but things are moving better now than the were. It's 16 minutes from County Road 18 up to 494.

Motorists on northbound Hwy. 169 will find pockets of slow traffic, but things are moving better now than the were. It's 16 minutes from County Road 18 up to 494.

On southbound 35W, it's 16 minutes from Lake Drive down to Hwy. 280, with the heaviest traffic between County Road 10 and County E2.

Westbound Crosstown is crawling along from 28th Avenue over to Hwy. 100. That is close to 20 minutes.

In downtown Minneapolis, look for some ramp jams on westbound 94 at 11th Avenue. Things slow from Hwy. 280 over to Portland Avenue.

It's still heavy on southbound 494 from Bass Lake Road down to 394. That is 14 minutes.
