Westbound Hwy. 212 now has all lanes open at Eden Prairie Road, but eastbound remains closed as the State Patrol investigates a fatal crash.

It happened just before 8 a.m. and the State Patrol says at least one person is dead. Intial reports indicate a vehicle that was heading west crossed over the median and hit an eastbound vehicle head on.

All eastbound lanes are closed and traffic is at a standstill at Dell Road.

Elsewhere, it's still a tight squeeze on westbound 694 from Central Avenue to Hwy. 252.
