SouthWest Transit is adding a few extra buses heading west out of downtown to accommodate passengers being sent home due to power outage in Minneapolis.

SouthWest Transit is adding a few extra buses heading west out of downtown to accommodate passengers being sent home due to power outage in Minneapolis.

The agency will resume its normal westbound schedule at 9 a.m.

On the roads, watch for a spin out on the ramp from Tamarack Road to northbound 494 in Woodbury.

In Anoka, eastbound Hwy. 10 drivers will encounter a spin out in which a vehicle landed in the ditch. A semi is parked on the right shoulder at Armstrong Blvd. An ambulance is arriving on the scene.

Watch out for the motorist who lost a tire on the ramp from northbound Hwy. 169 to Cedar Lake Road.
