For a bit of good news, the wrecks on eastbound 94 at Maple Grove Pkwy. and on northbound 35W at 42nd Street have cleared. The wreck on 35E at Wagon Wheel also is gone.

The bad news is they have left heavy traffic in their wake. Northbound 35W is still 20 minutes from Crosstown to downtown. Northbound 35E is 18 minutes from 494 to 94.

The misery on the Crosstown continues. A new wreck eastbound at Gleason has traffic coming to a near crawl at Shady Oak Road. Things don't loosen up until you reach Portland Avenue. Westbound drivers are inching along from 34th Avenue over to Penn Avenue.

Watch for a two-vehicle crash blocking the right lane and shoulder on northbound Cedar Avenue at 66th Street in RIchfield.
