8:20 a.m. update: Vehicle loses tire on 35W

The commotion on 35W at Cliff Road is the result of a southbound driver who lost a tire, which hopped the median and hit a northbound driver. Obviously that is creating a spectacle that people are slowing down to look at. Delays from Hwy. 13.

The commotion on 35W at Cliff Road is the result of a southbound driver who lost a tire, which hopped the median and hit a northbound driver. Obviously that is creating a spectacle that people are slowing down to look at. Delays from Hwy. 13.

Our big trouble spots continue to be on southbound 35E at Hwy. 36 where a tanker that had been blocking the left lane was just towed away.

I-694 from Hwy. 5 to I-35W is packed to the hilt and the trip will take 25 minutes or more.

Westbound 494 in Woodbury and Newport has loosened, but we still have a crash near Bailey Road.

In the west metro, northbound 494 slows approaching 394 due to a crash on the right shoulder.

The Bloomington Strip remains clogged with the slowest traffic eastbound from Flying Cloud Drive to 35W.
