8:20 a.m. update: Lots of clogged roads

The Tuesday commute is slow in many places, not just on northbound Hwy. 169 across the Bloomington Ferry Bridge. And we have not had a lot of crashes, either.

Commuters on westbound 94 can plan on 25 minutes between Downtown St. Paul and Downtown Minneapolis. Coming into St. Paul from Woodbury will spend 17 minutes from Keats Avenue to 35E.

In the south metro, northbound 35 from 185th Street to the Burnsville Split is crowded with 15 minutes needed. Ahead, things don't improve as it's packed from County Road 42 up to 494. That drive will take 20 minutes.

Southbound Hwy. 169 slows from 94 down to 394. That is 15 minutes.

Southbound 35W is jammed from 95th Avenue to Hwy. 280. That will cost you 25 minutes.

Southbound 494 is 25 minutes from 94 down to 394.

Hwy. 13 in both directions is not moving well either. That's not a better alternate to avoid the 169 mess.

Speaking of northbound 169, delays run from County Road 18 to Old Shakopee Road. That's better than yesterday, but still taking 20 minutes.

FILE -- A rent deposit slot at an apartment complex in Tucker, Ga., on July 21, 2020. As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
