Drivers are taking things into their own hands, making U-turns on Hwy. 212 in the vicinity of Hwy. 41. Drivers in the eastbound side are heading over to the westbound side.

"You cannot drive across the median to turn around on a freeway, even if the freeway is blocked," said Eric Roeske of the State Patrol. "That would be dangerous and illegal."
