8:20 a.m. update: Crash contributes to slowness on 494

The delay on westbound 494 starting at Pilot Knob Road is due to a left-lane blocking crash with a car sitting sideways in left lane on river bridge. Things actually are tight from Hwy. 61 so plan for a 20-plus minute ride to Cedar Avenue.

The delay on westbound 494 starting at Pilot Knob Road is due to a left-lane blocking crash with a car sitting sideways in left lane on river bridge. Things actually are tight from Hwy. 61 so plan for a 20-plus minute ride to Cedar Avenue.

Southbound 35W is still plugged from Hennepin Avenue past a broken down vehicle on the right at Lake Street. It's 15 minutes from Hwy. 280 past the scene.
