8:15 a.m. update: Single lane on Hwy. 61 in St. Paul

The Minnesota Department of Transportation has shut down the left lane of northbound Hwy. 61 from 494 in Newport to I-94 in St. Paul for road work. The lane should reopen by 4 p.m., the agency said.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation has shut down the left lane of northbound Hwy. 61 from 494 in Newport to I-94 in St. Paul for road work. The lane should reopen by 4 p.m., the agency said.

Elsewhere, we have a stalled vehicle blocking the center lane of eastbound Crosstown at Hiawatha Avenue.

And there is some minor congestion on northbound I-35 from County Road 60 up to Crystal Lake Road.
