8:15 a.m. update: Loosen on 694 and 35W

Congestion has loosened considerably on northbound 35W from County Road 42 up to the Crosstown. The only snag is a stall on the right shoulder at Cliff Road. That trip will take about 10 minutes.

Congestion has loosened considerably on northbound 35W from County Road 42 up to the Crosstown. The only snag is a stall on the right shoulder at Cliff Road. That trip will take about 10 minutes.

Eastbound 694 is much better at this hour. It's only a slight delay through the work zone from Hwy. 252 to University Avenue.

The State Patrol is directing traffic around a crash in the left lane of eastbound 94 near the Park Avenue/35W area in downtown Minneapolis. Traffic slows from the Lowry Hill Tunnel past the scene.

Northbound 169 looks good through the work zone from County Road 18 to Old Shakopee Road. Alternate routes, including Hwy. 13 don't look too bad. On 13, look for a minor squeeze around Lynn Avenue.
