8:15 a.m. update: Looking better on Hwy. 36, improving on Hwy. 10

With that activity in the past, the log jam on the westbound side is starting to loosen, though it is still tight from 35E over to about Lexington Avenue.

Up in the north metro, eastbound Hwy. 10 is improving, but look for sluggish conditions between Round Lake Blvd. and Egret Blvd. The good news there is that the three previous wrecks have cleared.

In Minneapolis, look for a fender bender just outside the east end of the Lowry Hill Tunnel on eastbound 94. Ahead, speeds drop at Cedar Avenue and remain in the 30 to 40 mph range through the work zone from Huron Blvd. to Hwy. 280.
