8:15 a.m. update: Current travel times

The hot spot for sure at this hour is on Hwy. 169. Southbound drags from Hwy. 7 up to the detour set up at the Crosstown where the highway is closed for road construction until July. The problem is a ramp jam to westbound Hwy. 212.

Northbound is hampered due to a crash that is being moved out of the left lane and onto the right shoulder at Excelsior Blvd. Things also sputter from Old Shakopee Road up to 494.

Crashes impedeing traffic include one in the left lane on southbound 694 at Stillwater Blvd. in Oakdale and southbound 35W at County Road I in Shoreview.
