8:15 a.m. update: Current drive times

We might be starting to see the impact of the latest Hwy. 169 closure. Traffic that normally uses Hwy. 169 may be using southbound 494, which is heavy from the Fish Lake Interchange to 394. That is a 20-minute trip.

Northbound Hwy. 61 remains jammed through Newport. Look for lots of emergency vehicles on the scene of a multi-vehicle crash on the right shoulder and right lane just prior to I-494.

Southbound 35E from County J to I-94: 18 minutes.

Eastbound Hwy. 10 from Hwy. 169 to 35W: 13 minutes

Eastbound 94 from Crow River to 494: 18 minutes

Southbound 494 from 94 down to 394: 20 minutes

Eastbound 394 from 494 to 35W via 94: 10 minutes

Southbound Hwy. 169 from I-94 to Bren Road: 20 minutes

South metro

Northbound 35W from County 42 to downtown Minneapolis: 20 minutes.

Northbound Cedar Avenue from 35E to the Crosstown: 12 minutes

Northbound 35E from County 42 to downtown St. Paul: 19 minutes

Northbound 169 from Canterbury Road to 494: 20 minutes

Westbound 494 from Cedar Avenue to Hwy. 100: 12 minutes. Eastbound 494 from Hwy. 169 to 35W: 6 minutes

Westbound Crosstown from Cedar Avenue to Hwy. 169: 11 minutes Eastbound Crosstown from Hwy. 100 to Cedar Avenue: 7 minutes

Westbound 94 from Manning Avenue to downtown St. Paul: 13 minutes
