You'll see a lot of flashing lights on northbound 35E near Maryland Avenue as the State Patrol works to clear a multi-vehicle accident. The activity is off to the right shoulder and two lanes are open.

Traffic is tight coming up from University Avenue. Also look for a ramp jam from westbound 94 to northbound 35E.

On the southbound side, look for slow traffic beginning at Hwy. 36.

On westbound Hwy. 36, you'll have plenty of company from Edgerton Street to Fairview Avenue. That is a drive you can make in 9 minutes.

We had reports of a wreck on westbound 94 at 12th Street in downtown St. Paul. It does not show up on cameras and doesn't appear to be having an impact on traffic.

Traffic has loosened on northbound 35W. A truck had lost some of its load at Cliff Road. It appears to have been picked up. Ahead, it's 7 minutes from the Crosstown to 94.

Westbound 494 is crowded but moving between Cedar Avenue and Hwy. 100.

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
